Competitive people, consider this your warning. Great Big Game Show puts you on a real studio style set, divides the room into teams and lets a live host control the energy from beginning to end.
The best group activities give everyone a chance to be good at something. One person might dominate trivia, someone else might have perfect timing and another person might somehow win through pure luck. Nobody has to sit on the sidelines.
We had an absolute blast. There was nothing we disliked, and we would happily return for a rematch.
The host kept everything moving and made the whole experience feel surprisingly legitimate. We left wishing they had a San Diego location.
Built by the team behind The Escape Game
Great Big Game Show launched its first studio in Nashville in 2023. The Mall of America location followed in 2024, bringing the same live hosted competition to Level 3 of the mall.
Step onto the set and play
Two teams face a rotating mix of challenges built around trivia, speed, strategy and luck. The live host adjusts the room and keeps every round moving.
Choose your team
Split into red and blue, then take your place at the podium.
Play five or more games
The mix changes, so different people get different chances to shine.
Follow the live host
Your host explains the games, controls the pace and brings the energy.
Chase the confetti
The winning team gets the full celebration at the end.
Lana’s reaction: The variety made it easy to stay involved, and the energy never dropped.
Kyle’s reaction: The competition felt real enough to make an immediate rematch sound like a good idea.
The complete live game show experience
There was not one single game that made the visit. The host, the lights, the podiums, the rotating challenges and the final confetti all worked together. That complete experience is what we would come back for.
What we would do again: The entire thing. New team, new games, full rematch.
The details worth knowing
Bring almost any group
Studios can accommodate groups from 2 to 14 people. Larger groups can be divided between studios.
No expertise needed
You do not need to be a trivia expert or an athlete. The games use a mix of skills, timing and luck.
Use the East Ramp
The closest free parking is Level P4 of the East Ramp. Great Big Game Show is on Level 3.
Planning note: Reservations are the safest choice, especially for birthdays and larger groups. Current hours and booking prices can change.
